Workshops

Practical and fun workshops
Want to design a parade float, make a big puppet, or create a new street theatre act?
We provide useful, practical guidance in all areas of our work- right through from design to presentation / performance. From a 3 hour session to a school holiday program, we will create a workshop to suit your needs.
Arts or community groups
We work with creative people who want to develop their skills. We also collaborate with community cultural development workers to address issues such as health and well being in new and exciting ways. We have run such workshops with many culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) groups.
Design
Need some creative ideas for your upcoming project? Discover some of the techniques we use to get us up and running - beginning with the design of unifying elements such as theme, style, scale and imagery.
Imagery
We can show you how to build lanterns, body puppets, hats, masks, floats, banners, costumes, community sculptures and props of all kinds.
Junk percussion
Using recycled materials, we create funky drums and shakers, culminating in a mini parade. Great for young people, this workshop encourages listening, self expression and working in a team.
Street Theatre
Learn how to create a street theatre act. Using drama games to explore character and style, we get you started with your very own scenario. Incorporating clowning and improvisation, this stimulating and fun workshop aims to bring out the street performer in you!
