Circus Solarus combines live drumming with roaming characters, providing exciting entertainment options for festival sites, parades, corporate functions and all those special moments that need accenting - award ceremonies; arrivals / departures; and guiding your guests from one place to another with flair.
Set the tone
Our musicians choose rhythms to suit the mood. From an up-tempo Latin beat, to a cruisy mellow groove, these roving performers know how to work in harmony with your event.
Junk percussion workshops
Our professional drummers also offer workshops in ‘junk’ percussion at your festival or event. Using recycled materials we teach simple rhythms for beginners and embark on a mini parade around the festival site–ideal for children, community groups, or curious passers-by.
Community Percussion Projects
We work with schools and community groups to create performances for local festivals and parades. Combine this with a costume-making workshop to create a funky, colourful community performance!
