Parade design
Parades provide the perfect opportunity to celebrate local community. Parades are a focal point for all manner of cultural, sporting, business, educational and charitable organisations. They give communities an opportunity to create and participate in a truly local celebration.
Design seminar
Our parade design seminar is a great way to get started on ideas and is best presented to organisers and community groups in the early days of preparation.
Themes and imagery
We will work through your ideas with you and assist in the design of unifying elements such as themes, styles, scale and imagery.
Banners, floats, costumes
We specialise in working with communities to design spectacular parade elements such as banners, floats, costumes, and performances.
In your community
We work with school groups and Indigenous groups, local artists and community cultural development workers. Circus Solarus has created costumes and floats for many parades, including the Centenary of Federation parade in 2001, Sydney’s Gay / Lesbian Mardi Gras and London‘s flamboyant Notting Hill Parade.
