We provide festivals with entertainment and collaborate with communities to celebrate their unique stories.
Always looking for the comic angle, our style is rooted in the carnival tradition. Lively characters and audience interaction combine to create an atmosphere of joyful celebration.
Striking imagery
From design to construction, we create costumes, props, sculptures, lanterns, puppets and floats to suit the festival theme. Costumes are often created in response to a brief. Favourites include the animal series, the environmental characters and stilt walking costumes.
Festival performance projects
Residencies with communities allow local histories to be dramatised for public events. We collaborate with the community to devise, direct and produce outdoor festival performances.
Parade design
The traditional parade provides an opportunity to develop local stories with local talents. Elements of narrative, costume, puppets, percussion, props and performance combine to produce street theatre spectacles that are fresh, vibrant and specific for that community.
