CIRCUS SOLARUS has been the arts resource team on many festivals, working with community groups to creatively engage them in their local events.

RECENT FESTIVAL PROJECTS

VIVA LA GONG FESTIVAL FINALE 2004
Circus Solarus worked with 5 local groups, on a spectacular finale performance for Wollongong’s major festival. Using local characters and stories we developed a story of hope and renewal, working with fire twirlers, Vietnamese dancers and a dragon group, an African choral group, local youth theatre, a dance group and an opera singer. Our Illuminated parade formed the central focus, leading the audience from one part of the story to the next, culminating in a spectacular fireshow with stilt walkers and giant puppets on the hill above the crowd.
