Angry crowds brought the city to a standstill yesterday as Circus Solarus were refused entry to Buckingham Palace. The supporters hurled bricks, rubber chickens and funny hats at police who earlier insisted that the Queen did not want Solarus to perform as mock royalty characters for the birthday of Prince Edward.
