In addition, we have been supported as a Social Enterprise by Parramatta City Council and in our community work are committed to:–
• Acknowledging the traditional owners of the land, including and employing Aboriginal artists whenever possible, consulting with elders and traditional owners groups.
• Working with disadvantaged groups.
• Protecting the environment, through environmental education projects and performances, using recycled and recyclable materials in workshops and costumes where possible and by composting, recycling and solar power at home.
In recognition of our work in the community and the environment we were finalists in the Suncorp Western Sydney Business Awards 2009.
