BATLOW APPLE FESTIVAL SETS NEW RECORDS
The Apple Olympics this year attracted many champion contenders and the main event, the Apple Bin relay was won by the defending champions in the Apple Blossom category and a new record for the Apple lob was set at 95 metres. Circus Solarus sent the Queen of Tarts and friend along to officiate at this prestigious event.
The event was halted due to rain before the Apple and Spoon race could be run.

The Queen of Tarts and the King of Vegetables were also guests of honour at the Gala dinner on Friday night, bestowing the Order of the Zucchini and the Golden Apple awards on many community leaders
